What is your reason/motivation for blogging?

I have a passion for writing and helping people realise that they all have potential and can make their dreams come true. That's where my Personal Development blog comes in. I have been writing there since August 2006 and for the first year of writing, I really had no traffic to speak of and couldn't work out how to get the traffic.  Then I was introduced to Social Media by my mentor, so I joined practically every site I could find and posted my links up, built a handful or more online relationships and the traffic started to come.

My Social Networking blog was born because I found that I needed a place to write about my experiences with using Social Media tools and having had success with Buzzing with Ange, I wanted to share how I did that. You can find me on Twitter almost everyday! (Is that geeky or what!)

What is it that you find yourself blogging about, mostly the same stuff or does it vary?

Lately I have been focusing on Twitter and using Friendfeed and sharing fun stuff and news that I come across on those sites. Articles that can help other bloggers with using their Social Media tools effectively and Clint Maher has a passion for Wordpress and plugins so is writing about blogging with Wordpress and in so doing, gets more content up there.

"Buzzing with Ange" is undergoing an overhaul at the moment. There are many things I wish to add to the site and it's long overdue for a fresh new look so I'm not there often enough at this point in time. This one is more of a personal site that I write about my successes and failures in life and interesting people I meet at seminars. I even wrote about my Kokoda Trek experience on there. That was a big personal challenge for me which was an awesome journey.

What style of blogging do you tend to use: short and regular, or not so regular but long, other? And is your blogging  text + photos or do you also use audio/video?

I tend to go with the flow of the subject. Some posts are short and to the point. Others are long and packed with useful information. I hate fluff and while some of you may think I write fluff, it fits with what I'm experiencing at the time of writing.

You will find lots of text, photo's, and videos on both sites. I think a post without images is boring personally so I try to make it more interesting for the reader. Podcasting is also on the cards this year so keep your ears out for that.

42-15530438 How Ange became a Geek Girl Blogger:

How did I get to where I am today? Too easy. About three years ago I was finding it difficult to "work for the man" with two beautiful young girls. They were in daycare and I was always getting calls with one or the other feeling sick so I made a decision that I had to find suitable work from home.

I had no idea what I wanted to do exactly and I'm a believer that what you think about comes about so being focused on working from home, I was attending a seminar which my mentor was at too. He asked me if I would be interested in being his virtual assistant by answering emails and moderating his Wealth Creation forum. Over that time, my role has changed and I'm now assisting him coach a group of budding Internet Marketers which I'm thoroughly enjoying.

My presence on the Social Media scene has become my source of income so to speak which is perfect for me as I do love the interaction and meeting peeps globally. Whoa! I'm a Geek Girl Blogger..... LOL

You really make it appear

You really make it appear really easy together with your
presentation but I to find this matter to be really something that I believe I might never understand.

It sort of feels too complicated and very huge for me.

I'm having a look forward for your subsequent publish, I'll try to get the hold of it!
